Being personally invited by the legendary Status Quo to be their support act on a 31 date tour of the UK, and playing in Chuck Berry’s touring band, are just two of the highlights in the careers of the members of Australian band twentysevens.

The band is releasing their second full length album SEX POLITICS AND RELIGION in Australia, having just returned from another overseas tour to England, Germany and Norway. Twentysevens’ brand of groove-based blues and roots has found an audience in Europe, but the band is back on home soil, keen to play Australian dates in support of the new record.

The Australian release will also include a bonus DVD – a documentary about the band’s 2006 tour with Status Quo through the UK, a fascinating insight into life on the road as the opener for one of the biggest bands in the world.
