Maleny based journalist and singer-songwriter BOB WILSON has just released his second album BIG COUNTRY TOWN on the REDMUSIC label. Bob is a wonderful story-teller with a quirky sense of humour and acerbic wit, reflected in 13 new tracks, with titles such as “53 and Fragile”, “Four Poster Bed” and the country-tinged title track. Bob’s first album enjoyed extensive airplay, especially on Macca’s Australia All Over national ABC program, and Macca has already been playing songs from BIG COUNTRY TOWN.
Bob and his wife Laurel have been enthusing lyric-loving audiences in the folk arena for many years, performing as The Goodwills. This new album will surely see them reach a much bigger audience keen to embrace this “funny, clever and rude” set of songs.
